Yeah, that's the logical place to start.

The grill is a Genesis 310, just past it's 9th birthday. It's been problem free since purchasing, but today when I went to fire it up the burner adjacent the igniter will fire up but then immediately goes out. The other two burners fire up and remain on. What should I be looking at to correct...

Quick follow up. . .received my order from David Santana. Grill, flavorizer bars, and heat deflectors. The quality is without equal. That's old school craftsmanship! Couldn't be happier. A tip of the hat to all here who recommended David. (y)

Well, I paid $150 for the Weber porcelain cast iron grates and bars. For about $60 more I'm getting the heat deflectors and that includes shipping from CA to FL. A better deal if you ask me.

Well, I connected with Dave and I went with the SS grates, flavorizer bars, and the heat deflectors. Returning the Weber parts to Home Depot. My only concern is will I become such a damn good grill master that my mother-in-law eats even more food? :LOL:

Thanks for the tip, Greg. The reviews on Amazon tell me this is the greatest thing since canned beer. I'm in. :)

BTW, I've never used SS grates. Do they require conditioning prior to first use? Maintenance and use suggestions?

LOL. I just emailed Dave for a quote on a package for the SS grates, flavorizer bars, and heat deflectors. Appreciate all the advice and help from everyone.

Thanks for the quick reply. My model is has the 3 front burners, if that makes a difference. I'm thinking I'll need to change out the entire ignition since the problem is that half the time it just doesn't spark at all.
