I’ve visited the forums, read a ton of recipe sites & watched videos. I’m so envious of new owners of 18” smokers because of the resources with step by step instructions. Can anyone recommend any sites offering similar for the 14? Or, even a book with significant portion to cooking on the 14?

Foley! Pinning the other jets didn't work & the hose on the regulator I bought is not the same size.. i’ve Decided to give the unit to my sister’s family & get a Q 1200 or 2200. Thank for all the help & encouragement. It was fun doing something I never thought to do. Cheers, Judy

Prior to seeing your post LMichaels, I used the pt of a safety pin to move around in the nozzle that connects to the burner. Burner now works. While all burners look good it is only heating to 375 after 15 minutes. I’m going to check for gas leaks on current hook up then, if needed, hook up...

Well, three burners are now working great. However the burner on the far left continues not to work. If all the other burners are off it will light briefly (via match) but not stay lite. If other burners are on it will not light. I’v switched out tanks but no go. Is there something I should...

I am back! In the video, all of the black burner wires or disconnected at the ignition box. The white wire, fathers from the ignition box, is disconnected at the burner. All of my burners have black wires. Does it matter if I disconnect the wire from the ignition box or the burner?

Thank you, the video is very helpful. I notice the other burners also have orange in the flame, should it be all blue? Also how to clean the burners when they are removed? (Btw, they don’t look at all greasy.) Can vinegar or another cleaning agent be sprayed in the holes. I sincerely...

Looks like about 1/3 of tank left. I do have a lot of spiders & insects around so probably should clean burner & check spider block. From what I can tell from manual the control panel has to come off? Yikes, scary but guess I’ll try it. Any words of wisdom for this novice? Judy

Oh Fellows, you stopped me from being stupid, Thank you, thank you. I went back & scrapped the battery connection pts & it is now working. The first burner will have a very low flame but goes out. The other 3 are working. The side burner will not light, I guess that means it is not getting gas?

It is propane. I need to get propane tomorrow & will then try lighting with a match. I did find serial #.

Thanks for the replies. I did change the battery but no joy. I do think i’m going to challenge myself to try to repair. I figure it’s worth a shot.
