Really simple. Spatchcock the chicken rub worth olive oil and used HardCore Carnivore Red seasoning. 275* till temp hit 120* then sauced and waited till done. That’s it.
I’ve got the first generation Weber Summit and it wobbles as well. It’s a triangle with a very heavy kettle mounted to it so of course it wobbles a bit. It’s not going anywhere the legs are attached to a solid metal band encircling the kettle. The diffuser plate was changed to a non-hinged plate...
I got the Summit charcoal without the side table for $500 used a few months ago. Great grill, it’s got me thinking of selling the performer and I didn’t think that day would ever come.
Not sure yet. Probably just a good scrub for now. It’s in really good shape. If I’m going to keep there’s really no sense in sandblasting the firebox and shades like I usually do.
I’m thinking this one is staying with me. It’s really in fantastic shape. No rust, SS flavorizer bars and the original smoker with water pan. Really cool.
This is easily the coolest Weber Has grill I’ve picked up. Been in one family since new and was taken care of well. Even the casters work! First serving tray I’ve seen as well.
