If you have the space and money, the EX6 is a great choice. If not, I am sure the EX4 will be great. I sold my gasser and one of my kettles.

I noticed that myself yesterday morning before starting up a pork butt.

When the smoker is active, the app should default to the screen with the temps and timers. It is almost as though they are expecting you to have multiple cookers or something. Also, I should be able to restart, edit, or make a new timer in the app. Instead all I can do it cancel it. **EDIT**...

I forgot to take pictures, but the chicken and tri-tip came out fantastic! Still some work to do on my end. I need to figure out a good searing temp for the tri-tip, but overall I am very happy with the cooker.

It is large! So glad I went with the EX6. I have two tri-tips and two chickens on there right now!

I ended up with the EX6. The extra cost is not prohibitive and the amount of fuel usage didn't see drastically different. To me it is worth having the space for when I need it. So far, I have been very happy with the first three uses. Tomorrow will be the big test. Going to do a pork butt and...

I find mine rolls fine over control joints. It does try to get squirrly like anything with 4 casters.

I called Weber this morning to ask about the auger and hopper ramp. Same as stated above. I told them that I was hoping the EX6 would have come with them, asked if I could request them, and the guy said no problem.

Just finished assembling mine. There were two updates for me. I have a Netgear Orbi that is mixed 2.4/5 and it connected to WiFi after the first update. After the first update my phone lost connection and I had to repair it to the controller to do the second update. My question is how to go...

I got mine at my local Lowes today. Doing the burn off now. It did not come with the welded auger, so I guess I will be contacting Weber about that. Are they fairly easy going with sending those out or do you have to show a need?
