Nice looking bark (y)
I don't think I've ever smoked a marinated cut before.
I'm a freak for Hatch green chiles - that would have gone really good on a soft tortilla, fresh pico, some cheese and guac.
Thanks for trying this and sharing the results!
From the Utah Scenic Byway 12 near the turn off to Bryce Canyon National Park (Sept 2025)
The thunderheads were just too impressive - had to stop at a small pull out and make an attempt to capture the vista
Happy Friday everyone.
Was just at Total Wines & More stocking up for the Holidays and saw a mix-pak of Dead Guy Ales from Rogue Brewing
It was an instant buy since I read the sad news that Rogue has shut down...for good(?). :(

Standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona...we've all heard the song by the Eagles.
We planned a trip to stay there for a night on a Southwest Road Trip on Route 66.
Yes...there is a flat bed Ford on the corner.
Never done that combo, but it sounds good. Would be tasty in a soft tortilla with all the fixin's (y)
Any heat from the chiles will 'soften' with the pork fat juicy goodness.
Enjoying a (finally) sunny Saturday and some college football.
From our Colorado road trip; Cerebus Brewing (Colorado Springs) - Tiny Umbrella Party IPA
I'd have to say that on our most recent road trip thru Utah and Colorado, the best place we ate at was The Goat And Clover Tavern in Grand Junction. British and Irish themed. I had a shepherd's pie that was absolutely delicious!
