    I finally got some 1/4" Slip rings and holes drilled through the cooking rack piviot bolts. Now I can connect meat temp probes in the rotisserie smoke box.

    I use slip rings. It's the same as a retractable electrical cord except there is no stop it rotates continuously. In my case I use 1 for the shaft and the one on each basket.

    I have been trying to modify the v4.3 case in OpenSCAD I have made some changes through changing the code in trial and error, wow what a piece of software, unsuccessfully I might add. I then need to export it as a STL and then into G-Code for my CNC machine. Maybe I could get the case modified...

    I found away to achieve my goal 1. Use OpenSCAD to export file as STL 2. download EstlCAM and open the STL file exported from OpenSCAD. 3. Save the file.

    I am old school and have the mind set of there has to be some open files while the system is running and although there is "almost no chance of filesystem corruption" there is still a chance and when it happens it will be at the most opportune time.

    The pig tail, after I cut the plug off, will be connected to a screw connection block. This is to allow meat probes to be used on my rotisserie smoker. I have a 12 pair slip ring that allows the leads to rotate.

    Has anyone cut the 1/8 male plug off the end of of a ThermoWorks Thermister Pro Series meat probe. I need to thread it thru a small hole and the connect it to a screw post
