I got my rock n roll blue kettle and haven’t opened it. I am still thinking whether to return it. I already have a WSCGC and not sure if I have an use case for the kettle. I got it just because of FOMO.

I ended up finding someone with a S-330 NG to swap parts with me. We swapped the manifold, hose, and side burner orifice. Everything is working fine.

I took out my S-330 manifold and side burner orifice today. The side burner orifice is 9/32" hex size but the main burner orifice is 10/32" hex size, so whatever being sold at grill-repair will not work (they sell 9/32").

Yes, it was originally for the BGE but I guess they found it actually fits the WSCG just as well.

Yea it's strange. I checked the manifold for both NG and LP and the NG costs 2x more than the LP at $100 vs $50. I'd think the valves should be somewhat different to justify the extra cost. Does the Genesis NG manifold or the valves do any regulation?

So the difference between a NG and LP manifold is really just the orifice? How does Weber sell the Genesis without NG regulator if everyone's pressure could be different? The more I read the more I get confused.

The manual specifically says do not place food directly on the diffuser. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to put the turkey on a drip pan placed on top of the diffuser without the cooking crate.

What exceptional results are you looking for? If you want to consolidate cookers, it is a good option that won't disappoint. If you are looking for food that will magically taste *much* better... I doubt it.
