Rotisserie on sale at Home Depot

I don't believe it would fit. I bought this one in the spring for my 2005 Gold C. Didn't fit. From an e-mail exchange with Weber the model I would need is the #7517.

    Fire Bricks

In the N. Virginia area none of the chain stores have them either. Look in the phone book for a brick yard or brick supplier. All metro areas will have a few. A real brick supplier will have firebrick and if you want "splits" which are fire bricks that are half thickness. I have a bunch of the...

    Silver vs Gold

I think the OTG has 2 handles on the bowl of the kettle while the OTS has only one. The OTG comes with a hinged cooking great while the OTS does not. I went with the OTS and added a $3 terracotta pot on the ash pan that fits perfectly and catches the ashes. I then bought the SS hinged grate...

Rotisserie for Genesis Gold C, which model?

Does anyone have any idea which of the newer (and available, preferably Amazon) rotisseries will fit a Genesis Gold C? Weber is telling me that I need model # 7517 which I can only find from a limited number of merchants. The newer Genesis use the 7519 and I've seen merchants advertise that...

Heavy duty rod style replacement grates.

I'm interested in how these work for you, I have always thought about getting the summit grates for my genesis but was unsure they'd fit. These seem like they are made to fit the genesis and should hold more heat than the thin stainless grates I have now.

    Lid holders

I'll chime in too. I too was worried that with the slide-aside the lid would no longer close tightly. I spent 5 minutes adjusting the 2 metal clips by hand when I received it and there is no smoke leakage (I do long smokes on my OTS) and it doesn't interfere with closing the vents and...

    Thermoworks questions

I think Thermoworks is going to have to re-think their pricing on the Thermapen. The MTC offers more capabilities with the interchangeable probes at close to the same price as the Thermapen when the MTC is paired with the super-fast probe. Last month the special was $69, now there's a $74...

Pulled Pork on Weber Kettle -- Is it possible?? (w/Pics)

Check out this thread: http://tvwbb.infopop.cc/eve/fo...0039023/m/6750042994 I did 10+ hours with a single load of fuel. Easy as pie, I had never smoked anything before and it came out great. I did foil and finish in the oven for 90 mins. I could easily packed in more fuel in the beginning...

    Thermoworks questions

Thanks for the review, I have been reading I've been looking at the MTC as it seems to over more options then the Thermopen with an initial lower cost.
