    Two pork butts and two racks of spare ribs. Also have 72 flour tortillas to serve with the pork.

    Craig, That's exactly what I do. I think the foodsaver does a great job on the pulled pork. I give them to friends to enjoy and every one of them loves the boiling bag concept.

    Hang in there Jim. It will get better. On my first cook I used two much wood also. The meat came out way to black and smokey. About two fist size pieces is all you need.

    Minion method vs. outside temps

    Mark, I had a few cooks here in sept and oct that were in the 80's as far as outside temp and I didn't change a thing. The minion method seems to work at any temp.

    2 butts for Super Bowl - just put them on

    Just pulled two butts and a brisket at 8:00 this morning. I put the "Mr. Brown" rub on everything too, but I also add some garlic powder. Just put a turkey and ham on to come out this afternoon.

    Superbowl Smoking?/

    Going for my biggest cook yet. Two butts and a brisket starting Saturday at 7:00 pm till Sunday morning. Then pull those and do a Turkey and ham with the water pan empty (about 5 hours).
