Has anyone found a source for the Heat Shield Products thermal jacket for the 18.5? I looked at a number of alternatives including a couple I've made with some of the recommended materials. My DIY efforts didn't handle the heat at hotter cooks so I'm back to exploring a commercial solution...

I installed the gasket strip after I had added the hinge to my 18.5". No problem at all. Works well. Do insure the lip surface you glue the gasket to is very clean as the gasket will come loose over time. If it does just clean the area with brake clean and reattach. Simple really.
