My first build...

Handle on the top vent...

Handle on the bottom vent...

Cast aluminum pot lid as the heat diffuser...

I did my burn in yesterday without the tamale pot or lid installed. I found out that it wasn't a good thing to use a blower to fire up the coals... :(

It got so hot...it melted the aluminum bottom vent.

It got so hot to melt the porcelain coating and infuse the ashes into the coating!!

Oops. Guess I won't try to do the blast furnace method again. It was pretty fun though. :D

They dont have to be pretty to cook well, just as long as the meat come out pretty.
Save the blower for the blacksmiths.
