Margarita recipe request.

I'm Looking for your favorite Margarita recipe I'll take frozen ones but i'm more looking for high end recipes for over the rocks.

Here's a recipe I found earlier in the month when I was looking. Simple, but better than any mix I've used.

2 cups sugar
2 cups water
2 cups freshly squeezed lime juice
2 cups tequila
1 cup Grand Marnier

Heat the water/sugar then cool for simple syrup. Combine w/ other ingredients and serve w/ lime wedge over ice.

Diane Kennedy from "The Essential Cuisines of Mexico" posts this as her go to margarita mix

1/2 part triple sec
1 part freshly squeezed lime juice
1 1/2 parts white tequila

quality of the liquors matters on this one, i made it last night....alot of people may be surprised at the proportions of this recipe...i certainly was, its one potent mother.....but it is wonderfully bright and though the tequila's flavor does stand out, its delicious imo.
