Brisket - times

hi all, only myself and the missus (and im fairly new to all this stuff),I want to do 6lb of brisket how long am i looking at 1lb / hours?

At a 250º cooking grate temp, briskets take on average between 1 - 1.5 hrs. per lb. Higher temps and foiling the flat when an internal temp of 160º is reached, will speed up the cooking some. I would reccomend that you do foil the brisket flat when it reaches 160º, and cook till just fork tender. Then let it rest for 1 hr before slicing. HTH
