just discovered there is a store really close to where I work at. I am a spice/rub/seasoning junkie and was wondering what some of your favorites were from there. Mainly for steaks, pork and chicken.

I discovered there's a Penzeys in Austin not far from me so I went there a few weeks ago. I picked up a few 'blends' and liked the Fox Point and Chili 3000 the most. I usually mix my own, but gave these and a few others a try. If you like them, all of their labels list ingredients so you can attempt to clone them on your own.

Salt-free seasoning mixes are sometimes hard to find. Penzey's has a very good selection of them. Salt your meat to taste and add a lot or only a light sprinkling of the rub as you like without altering the amount of salt you want on the meat.
