Beer.

Bud light platinum has been around for a few years now; I like it alot.

I saw Corona premier a few weeks ago & thought about getting it, but I was afraid it may be skunky like regular Corona...

To me, I've just started seeing commercials for these items the past few weeks. Never seen them before.

Amber is usually my least favorite style, because it's too in the middle. It's not light like a hefeweizen or golden ale, or heavier like a IPA or stout.

The exceptions were Medocino Brewing's Red Tail Amber Ale; and a local brewery's amber.

Then recently I tried one more brewery's amber, and I'm more interested in them now.

I don't know how Bud Amber Reserve compares, but if someone else says it's worth trying, I might try it.

When I’m cooking I love a beer thats light and crisp and lean towards pilsners my favorite being Victory Prima Pils. This time of year I also love the Oktoberfest beers in particular Weihenstephaner’s Festbier. I also love Founders Breakfast Stout.

Thanks. I like Weihenstephaner. I'll look out for their Festbier.

Breakfast Stout has been on my wishlist for a few years. I've seen it, but just decided to get other things, at those times.

Seems like it's not available in my area.

I ended up getting a foil cutter, which also came with another item, a wine pourer. So worst case, if I didn't like the foil cutter, I'd still have a wine pourer which I didn't have before.

The foil cutter ended up working great. It cut about a one inch strip below the top of the bottle, which was a lot better than I could do before, with my hands.

So now I can either have Boehmia from the bottle using the foil cutter, or pour it into the glass.

Thanks @timothy.

When I tried in April, the foil cutter worked great on the Bohemia bottle.

However, when I tried i October, the foil cutter wasn't cutting. I had forgotten, was I supposed to use the foil cutter before or after removing the cap? Neither worked.

I ended up breaking the foil cutter, and getting a different new one.

I then tried on another bottle last weekend, and nothing worked. None of the foil was being removed. Finally, I poured it into a glass.

Are there some bottles where the foil just can't be removed? Or are those foil cutters really better for wine bottles, and not beer bottles?

Their description is pretty funny.

I bolded my favorite jokes.

departedsoles Sometimes you need to bend the rules a little to Marwin the day, so we're up and at 'em a little earlier than we should be, getting a fresh new Hazy IPA in cans Justin time for a surprise Sunday release! Some of you may have already gotten the Signs that this was coming today, but beer releases are like a pitcher's arsenal, and you never really know what's coming and when... unless, of course, you cheat. When this pandemic first struck, much of our staff worked from home, while Brian rededicated himself to the Art of Brewing.. rewatching brewing school classes, reading new studies, and pouring over interviews, trying to Luhn(h)ow we could improve our efficiencies and processes. The result is a Fiers new approach to everything we do, from mashing in, to dry hopping, water treatments to canning, and everything in between. And, well, we don't mean to breg, man, but this new beer is Reddickulous, and you won't want to miss it! Brewed with Citra in our whirlpool, and given a touch of milk sugar for complexity, this juice bomb was twice dry hopped... first with more Citra, then with 2017 grams per barrel of Galaxy and Strata Hops... and just like an Asteroid, the flavor is out of this world! Like a craft beer Minute Made orange juice, to enjoy at a Park this fine day! Need some #TrashCanBanger in your life? Maybe Collin a favor with a friend if you're stuck in Correa, to have 'em pick you up some, or Cora ride share from Dallas to the brewery. If all else fails, throw a Belt & ran to the brewery, with a little Springer in your step, to be here at noon when we open up and release it to the world... Assuming our canning run goes off without a Hinch, 4 packs of this new #DefinitelyNotGlutenFree Banger will be available at noon for $17. Set your alarm to buzz, or tape an electrode to your chest to make sure you don't forget! The show Musgrove on! We're open from noon until 8pm, accepting same day delivery orders up until 4pm. Usual minimums, fees, etc. apply! Menu in story.

No one has posted anything interesting they're drinking since 2019?

I ordered 4 different beers from Alesmith, to be delivered. IPA; Pale Ale; Speedway Stout; Mexican Lager. I've tried the first 3, I like them.

I've had the Speedway Stout before. First time for the others.

I'm currently, right now as I type these words, enjoying a New Belgium Trippel 🍺

Before I go out on the patio and put some smoke on a few Southside beef sausages.

Good suggestion. I haven't had that by them before. It's probably been a few years since I've had a Belgian style beer like that.

I will add this to my list, and probably get it delivered, the next time I make a beer purchase.

Lagunitas is 3/4 of a mile from my house. Plinney is available in Sara Rosa, bout 10 mile. The Sonoma wine country is famous for wine, but there are many amazing craft beers in the area.

I grew up old school in Pennsylvania, and after 17 years away, I'm back in Pennsylvania. Reunited with Yuengling Premium Beer. Not Lager, but the original Yuengling Beer I cut my teeth on oh so many years ago. An underrated beer if there ever was one. Crick water, and aged in a side of a mountain.

I try and keep my beer local. Charlotte is becoming quite the beer city!
I do keep, as my 90 year old father would say, “cheap beer“ on hand too
I like either a Yeungling or a PBR with dinner. Something not too complicated that I’d have to “ pair” with whatever we’re having for dinner.

Picked up Deschutes Black Butte Porter last week. First time I had seen Deschutes here on the East Coast.

There's a local brewery near me called Double Nickel which has some some beers. Always enjoy a nice IPA when I fire up my WSM

I just made a convenience store run and picked up some Leinenkugel's Toasted Bock (seasonal) while I was there. It's OK, but a little milder than what I was expecting. Maybe I'll have better luck with the lottery ticket I bought.;)

I love Yeungling. We can't get it where I live but, I try and stock up any chance I get :)
