My friend recently acquired a Genesis S-320 but it has a natural gas line. He lives out in the bush so propane is his only option. What do I need to get to convert his bbq to propane?

Thx!!!

New manifold. Just for reference is it a E/W or N/S?

Yep, simplest, safest and most sure way to convert is by swapping manifolds. He will also need a tank scale hanger and it will not work on the inside of the cabinet as there is no hole in the floor. I believe you can put the scale on the outside and hang it on the there.

So we can’t just swap out the orifices and attach a propane regulator to the manifold?
It depends on the valves you have on it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. If they're valves that are 3 step it will not work (well it will but NOT properly). So the easiest and safest thing is an entire manifold
