Yellow MBH kettle Benecia Ca (not mine)

Really? I was thinking it would reduce how much he had to give you. Yours looks way worse, doesn't that increase the value ? I just don't understand the old kettle market 😕

I've had little interest in mine. Posted it free a couple times. I have three kettles I'm looking to find forever homes for.

I've been toying with buying a kettle for a while now, I'm getting a little nostalgic remembering the way things tasted on one growing up. I have to be honest, it's the one Weber grill that I would just straight up buy a new one. They really haven't changed much over the years so I would rather have a nice, shiny new one.

Grab one cheap. Add a new grate food tastes the same.

If you buy new, be sure to get one with the removable ash bucket rather than the cheap one with the flat pan. A thermometer is nice, too.

I have a perfect, virtually like new one for sale for $145:

This is all I need. It comes with new everything.

I guess what I was originally thinking was if you picked up an old one you could decide if you really wanted one again or not.

I agree with Jon on the ash catcher. the one touch control is worth it. too.

Well, yeah, that one is a steal at $40. I guess that's why I am having trouble selling mine, even though a new "premium" one (which still doesn't have all the features mine does such as the vent extension) now goes for $239.

I think market is a factor. Seems like a lot are cutting loose their kettles.

Here is an even better steal.20220730_114017.jpg

Not disagreeing with you but there are people who prefer the old ones for the daisy wheel vents feeling there is better air intake control for LAS.
