If you mean to do this you need the charcoal not the water pan.

They are the Brinkmann charcoal pans. I call them ”water pans” as that’s what I use them for in the WSM.

I got my last one from a Brinkmann smoker that was being sold for $20.00. I threw away the smoker and kept the pan

I reached out to Lane, these are still available and I think he's interested in selling, but he's got some issues with finding the right sized box for shipping.

Lane, if you can post the diameter of these bowls, it would assure folks that they'll fit properly in the 18.5" WSM.
