Other smokers I've used required an initial seasoning to "cure" the metal surfaces but I read nothing concerning a break-in period in the manual for the WSM. Any advice. Thanks Dave
"Cure" or "break-in" not necessary-- porcelain enamel is ready to roll-- but over time, the soot layer that builds up on the interior surfaces will assist in temperature regulation.
