Wrong grommets for temp probe

I got the Cajun Bandit temp probe grommets because I thought they would replace the bolt holding the grate but they are too big to fit. Did I get the wrong ones? Well obviously I did but I only saw one size on their site.

Well, you are right in that there is only one size, and it does replace the bolt of the retaining bracket.

Hmm did weber change the hole size on the new WSM? I mean I am not an engineer but I know when a hole it too small. Lol. For now I just took out the bolt and ran it through the hole. I will have to look again when don't doing the ribs.
 
Well, I can't answer the ? about differing hole sizes.
However, if it don't fit, it don't fit.
Maybe someone with a newer WSM can help.
 
Well I have to give props to Chris Byrd at Cajun Bandit. You don't find customer service like this much these days. I emailed them regarding the order and within a half hour on a Saturday he responded with he will priority mail the proper size to me. I will buy from them again in the future for sure.
