Love my WSM 22.5. I find I need more work surface and storage. I can't put the lid or middle section on my deck. Wife would not appreciate the nice rings that would leave. I am thinking about building a work station with the 22.5 WSM in the middle and 2 flat work counters (prob. stainless steel) on each side. One side would have an enclosed double door cabinet for storage. The other would be open with foil and paper towel holders and hangers for BBQ tools. The WSM would be on a lazy susan style rotating platform and would be enclosed on the back and cabinet side.

I am looking for thoughts, modifications..... and am I just over thinking this??

Take a look at this. It's a nice cart and you can modify his plans to make your plan. You can never over think a building project.
