I was thinking of marinating a rack of baby backs in worchestershire sauce overnight with dry rub. Anybody ever used it on ribs before cooking? Thanks

I just recently ordered a product called TexasBarBQue Rub. They recommend applying Worchestershire sauce to meat before applying their rub. So far I've only used it once, but it was quite good.

Hi Bruce,

My opinion...MUCH too strong a flavor for marinating overnight or even marinating all by itself.

I think rubbing it down with Worcestshire is OK and then apply your rub, but to soak it in straight Worcestshire...not for me.

I recently purchased some Worcestershire powder from Penderys.com. I haven't tried it on anything but beef, but it adds a nice flavor to rubs.
I think marinating in Wooster would overpower the flavor of the meat.
Just my $.02.

Hey Bruce, where ya been? I love worcester, I got a steak with fresh pepper, granulated garic and Hy's seasoning soaking in worcester right now. I haven't tried it on ribs but I think your on to somethin'.
