Wood?

I am building kitchen cabinets out of maple. Can I use the cutoffs in my (brand new) WSM?

If there hasbeen any type of finish, stain or other chemical applied DO Not use it. Kiln dried wood is not prime material but it does work, just need to be careful about how the wood has or has not been treated.

I've used cut-offs from my kitchen cabinets (cherry) and they worked perfectly (raw wood only). -Albert
