Wood for turkey

All I have is hickory - is it easy to oversmoke?
I have a 12 pound turkey...how many chunks of wood?
 
Think I would use two chunks ... if you are running a hot WSM your smoke wood may be consumed quickly ... add wood as necessary to apply smoke for 2 - 3 hours.
 
Everyone's preferences are different, but, with turkey, I go with two fist-sized chunks of a fruit or nut wood at the beginning, and that's it.
