Willy Wonderfull Rub


 
Greg, this must be an excellent rub. I buy granulated garlic and onion which I would have to adjust for and In do not have that 'New Mexican Chili Pepper'.
Oh well I will catch up soon enough.

The real point is that Jim has an assembly of great flavors for beef.

To reduce the salt but keep the same profile try:

1/2 cup + 1 T sugar

2 T granulated garlic

2 T granulated onion

2 T ground celery seed

2 T + 2 t seasoned salt

1 t table salt

1/4 c + 1 heaping t each of black pepper, paprika and ground NM chile

1 slightly heaping t each dry mustard, cumin and cayenne

T=tablespoon t=teaspoon
 
Thank you Kevin. It looks good! We just prefer a little less salt in our diet. I guess we must accidentlly swallow enough sea water at the beach so our sodium intake is fine.
