Why so many green SS performers

Of the many listing of SS performers for sale, I see an over abundance of the green color versus the other colors. Was this a special color for say Crate and Barrel?

Just wondering.

Thanks,

Robert

When you are color blind you are not sure what you are buying I guess. Or as said said above it blends in to the landscape.I have the way to many black and wish it was blue, the colored ones are the best looking.

I have noticed quite a few green S/S performers recently as well...hmmmm...

The black ones are veryy common, I don't see many blue ones and the red ones seem come up even less. I just think they made lots of the green ones.
Any other color is a speciality.

It probably has to do with Weber's train of thought that we as Americans are conservative when it comes to kettle colors. Green is a neutral tone color. This theory of mine coincides with AJ's assessment that other colors are a specialty as they come up for sale even less. Also, which is why the EU gets all the flamboyant colors. Just a guess.
