anyone have any experience with a whole new york .I have a 12 pounder. thanks in advance
 
I second Jims opinion that a yummy way to roast it would be the Montreal Rib Roast recipie. (one of my favorite ways to do a prime rib either in the smoker or on a kettle) I would preface that by saying that I would want a roast with a decent fat cap and one graded usda choice or better to get the wonderful results the rib roast gets. otherwise the risk of it geting too ddry around the edges exists.
