Which Performer should I buy?

Ok, I need your imput

Months ago my wife and I came to an agreement that I could hand down my trusty 1986 22" OTS to my son and get a new Performer. The one stipulation was that I couldn't buy it until our house sold. Guess what? it sold and we close on March 12th!
Months ago with talk of a Brick Red Performer being available for 2010 I was pretty sure that was what I was going to get with Dark Blue as an option. But, when I saw the new wheels, the frame going from black to silver, the thermometer mounded in the lid and the sides changing from stainless to painted steel on the 2010 models I was somewhat put off. I'm considering instead getting a 2009 model in dark blue or green (I can live without brick red.)
So, please weight in here and give me your take on the 2009 vs. 2010 models.

I like the 2010 model better. I think the thermometer has a better configuration.

go with what appeals to you. the new one might? be better but if you don't like the looks you will be miserable. they both will cook the same.

I kinda dig the 2010 ... for all the mentioned reasons plus, I like the new darker table and handle ... shouldn't show grime and stains as much

Yea, I do like the darker table top and handles for just that reason.
