For the past ten years, our family goes to Northern Wisconsin for Christmas. My wife's sister lives there and we have friends in the area. Every Christmas I buy a 10 lb. Prime Rib (USDA Choice) at a local market here in Eastern Iowa, take it with, and cook it on a Weber charcoal grill, using indirect heat. This past year I decided to order and purchase the 10 lb. Prime Rib (USDA Prime) at a meat market near my sister-in-law's home. Lake Tomahawk Meat Market is the shop. All I can say is it was the BOMB! Flavorful, tender, moist, and trimmed just right. Lake Tomahawk Meat Market has a great selection of cuts, jerky, brats, sausages - you name it, they have it. If you are ever in Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin, make sure to check them out. Highly recommend them.

Lake Tomahawk reminds me of one of my favorite towns in Minnesota... Vergas... liquor store and city hall all in the same building. Gotta keep things practical up north dontcha know!
