Where to eat BBQ!?

I figured I'd make a thread for this as I travel frequently and love BBQ.

I've been to some really good places for BBQ in Texas...One of my favorites being Mesquite BBQ in Mesquite, TX. I also went to a place in San Antonio (outskirts, actually) which was awesome. I had smoked turkey, ribs, and brisket at this place!

The last place I visited was the Dreamland in Alabama and brought home some sauce while I was at it. Awesome, awesome food there. Also, the Jim and Nick's was very good.

So, my question to you guys, since I'll be in Nashville next week, is.....WHERE TO EAT! Any recommendations on hidden BBQ gems in Nashville??? I'd love to hear about them.

Thanks.

Brian,
I've only been to Nashville one time and only ate at one BBQ joint there. It was Jack's BBQ. They have two locations. One downtown and one outside town on Trinity Lane. I ate at the one on Trinity Lane. I thought it was pretty good. My wife's uncle lives there and that's where he took me. I think the one downtown is a little more upscale than the Trinity Lane location. I enjoyed the not so upscale version. It is like a cafeteria line. You get your tray then slide down to get your Q and sides right at the counter. Good luck.

Cory, Jack's was recommended by someone else...I'm definitely heading there! Another spot that was just recommended to me was Martin's BBQ. Anyone heard of it?

Tim! Wow, this is awesome, haha. So close, huh? I'm usually smoking every 2-3 weeks during the winter and almost every weekend during the summer!!! My neighbors love it!

Brian it is a trip huh?... I smoke about the same amount and my neighbors love it too... (not to mention all the local dogs! When I cook there all my 'buddies').

I have never been to Martin's but it has gotten some good ratings and Pat Martin is a good guy. He has a blog http://www.martinsbbq.blogspot.com/ and it is a very interesting read. He has basicly blogged since before the restaurant was opened about each step of the process. I emailed him a few times with different questions and he was very responsive and nice to speak with.
