I've had my WSM for about 5.5 years now, and the charcoal grate has finally called it quits. I got one last smoke out of it this past week but a couple of the bars have rusted clear through now.
I've looked at the links here that go to Amazon and they all point to a 13.5" grate which is too small for the 18.5" smoker. Does anyone have a reliable and reasonably priced source for these? There is a 3rd party seller on Amazon that appears to have them, but they want $20 each for them too! Ouch! For that much, I'd be inclined to see if someone could fab up a stainless steel one and never have to bother with it again.
