Oh man, I love cheesecake. New York style is the best! I'm not a big fan of lemon flavored dessert, but I've seen your other cheesecakes and they are droolworthy for sure!
This one had a clean lemon flavor. It wasn’t syrupy lemon but a nice change. The zest was macerated with the sugar to evenly disperse the lemon oils into the batter. The recipe was only 1/4 cup of fresh Meyer lemon juice. Since Meyers are on the sweeter side, this cheesecake has what I’d call a lemon boost flavor. Not a sour lemon flavor.

I’m not a big fan of lemon desserts too. But I’d make this one again though.
 
Great, now I found that in almost all of the categories in my "Cheesecake" binder, I have recipes that are waiting to go in the binder. :rolleyes:
 
Brett, you nail that right on the head. Outstanding job. We love cheese cake and I do make it every so often. I do one in the I P and then I but cherry filling on top. YUMMY:)
