When did Weber stop using the 5 lb propane tank on the Performer? (reposted)

Thanks for that link, John! Reading through the descriptions, it sounds like this one: http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/grd/5602653886.html
is a 2014 model, since it has the plastic table (2010-2014), but the propane bottle for gas assist which started in 2014, correct? If so, $100 doesn't sound bad, even with the missing timer, for a used 22" performer. If I could sell my current 22" kettle for, say, $40 that would only be $60 to upgrade from OTS to Performer...hmm...

Thanks for the link John! Very interesting! I wasn't able to score the Blue one :mad::mad: The seller had someone come by before I got out of work. and from your link, I can see it was Gen 1.
BUT! I have my eye on a Gen 3 with a "stainless steal smoker riser and smoker box". I was late to the party and the seller said "someone is supposed to come by tomorrow". I told him to shoot me a text if that falls through and I'd come over a look at it. He wants $250, but I'll only go as high as $150. For $250 I can get a brand new performer with the tiny table, or go $100 more and get the Premium. I'm not cheap, but a year after getting the Summit 470 and an 18.5" WSM, wifey said, "you're getting a little out of hand, mister" and there's just something about a CL find that's very satisfying.
