I put a 8# packer on the brand new WSM at 8:15 this morning. Planning to eat it at 9 pm tonight. I am using a combination of oak and pecan wood, both of which are new to me. I'm excited to see how it turns out.

I've got it stoker-ed and am using Amir's stokerlog to monitor it while I work.

What's everyone else smoking?
 
Nothing this weekend, but next weekend!!!

I will grill some stuff this weekend, tho.

Tell us how the wood goes, I've never used pecan.
