What's easier for smoking 3 to 4 meats

Using the bottom rack in the WSM or buying a hover rack mounting in on the top grate and cooking meats on the hover rack and the top rack while leaving the bottom rack closets to the fire empty. I trying to start planning for memorial day. I have to feed about 40 people so I was going to do a couple of briskets and pork butt.
