What to do with ashes?

wow ! yea, i put my ashes in a small plastic bucket but the ashes have been dead for a week or so. if i have to take them out within a day or so they go in a metal can.
after a few weeks they go into a plastic bag and in the trash. if there are a few left over chunks of coal i just toss them in the back yard. the weeds seem to enjoy that !

I dumped ashes that were 2 days old in the woods once. A day later it started smoldering. Scary how long they stay hot and how they can come back to life.

I dump them in some parts of my back yard where I don't want any vegetation.

I use them to fill holes. Our yard is filled with holes the previous owner pulled up plants or whatever. Nothing ticks me of more than to hit a hole with the mower and the beverage goes splashing!
