I believe that would be an older model Genesis - I've seen several of them on ebay - always pick up only in some place like New England - and on some of my friend's patios, but they would miss them if they were gone.

I have one just like it. It is a Weber Genesis 1000.

Yep. A Genesis 1000.

I also bought one just like it off CL for $25 last year, with cover and tank. The PO also modded it, putting wooden slats in place of the wire bottom shelf. I had to replace the grates and bought the little warming basket, which mine was missing.

You got a nice find, at a great price.

Fifty bucks,,, that's about the same as shop lifting.
Looks just like my Silver B except mine is enclosed on the bottom with s.s. doors and molded shelves on the left and thermometer mounted in the center.
