What do I have??

So I have 3 grills, the 2 red ones I just picked up today. The black one I've had for a while. Problem is none of them have serial #s. I've looked everywhere. The black one I'm guessing is a silver B? The drip pan is smaller than the others and has 5 bars. One of the red ones is complete but needs everything. The other red one had a bad cart so it will probably be used for parts. Any help would be great so I can get the correct parts. thanks!!IMG_20200510_155937.jpgIMG_20200510_155937.jpgIMG_20200510_160015.jpgIMG_20200510_160015.jpgIMG_20200510_155937.jpgIMG_20200510_160015.jpgIMG_20200510_160034.jpgIMG_20200510_160044.jpgIMG_20200510_160130.jpgIMG_20200510_160156.jpg

Black is Silver B and Red is Genesis 1000. Try on the very right edge of the control panel for a serial number. Usually the Silver B grills had them on the right side where the tank scale mounts to it.

All of those lids are interchangeable, just FYI.

Thanks Bruce! How does that silver B cook compared to the 1000? I've been using my 1000 for years and love it, just did a complete rehab this spring with all the time spending at home.

The main difference is the shallower box on the Silver B along with one row of Flavorizer bars instead of two rows. The general consensus is the two rows and deeper cook box allow more even heating. When removing the top set, you still have the ones over the burners but you now have a lot more clearance for things like rotisserie usage. The 13 bar fireboxes are a bit harder to maintain as the flavorizer bars are more expensive and all parts are harder to find than the newer silver B grills. I also like the convenience of the thermoset tables on the Silver B grills.
That being said, I prefer the 13 bar grills all things considered.
