That is a nice source. As long as you use a lid with the correct style of end caps, yah, that would fit a Silver B or durawood or wood Genesis 1000. I suppose a guy could try to put in the cut outs to match a Genesis 1000 handle if he had the tools, skills and desire.

I used a strip of cedar on one of mine. You can get them from HD or Lowes for much cheaper than that handle. I used the same strips for the table slats.
You can also keep an eye out for the old style handle with the integrated lights (#9057). They show up on ebay once a while. There also have been a few threads here about the light and how to swap the old style bulb with LED bulbs.
