Weber Summit S-450 Rotisserie Help

I picked up this grill for 200 bucks and it did not come with the rotisserie. I ordered a universal one and it did not fit the opening on the firebox. Anyone else had this issue? Weber says they no longer offer the part and I'd like to use the function.

If it does not have a rotisserie burner don't waste your money. Two reasons first the Summit line is not a very long lasting grill. Typically having the fire box rot out in short order rendering the grill pretty useless/unsafe. Second without a rotisserie burner all that happens is you only cook the ends of the food. I've been there done that with a 1st generation Summit 450. If you want truly good rotisserie, get a grill with a rear burner or an early generation Genesis with E/W burners
