I can't decide if that's a good move or not. Significant price savings and I might be able to fight with Weber about the new stand but... do I want to? :-D

Any idea what the freight charge on something like that would be? By the time it's all said and done, might not be much cheaper than the 'newer' one.

Good point, I noticed that the seller also has Weber Spirit Gas grills & charging +$275 freight! I live about 2 hours from the seller but I have put the Charcoal Summit out of my mind quit some time ago.
