This is an upgraded first generation 36” Weber Smokefire pellet smoker/grill. I was one of the first adopters of this grill when it came out on the market. I have added the front and side tray with cutting board. I have also updated the hopper, auger and glow plug holder with second generation parts from Weber.

There are lots of different opinions about this smoker online. However, in a KCBS bbq competition, this smoker cooked like a champion. It helped me to earned 1st place in Brisket, 2nd place in chicken and reserve grand champion to bring home over $2500 in prize money. A friend of mine once said it’s not the cooker, it’s the cook. Once you get to know your equipment, you can cook anything and cook it to perfection. The smoke flavor is unbelievable and the app is easy to use. The Smokefire has a low smoke boost setting that cooks around 180 degrees. The range will increase in 5 degree increments all the way up to 600 degrees. When it is that hot, is is easy to sear steaks to perfection. It will also act like a convection oven. So you can also bake bread or lasagna.

I’m getting out of competition bbq and this is the last cooker for me to sell. If your interested in buying a great smoker, then come take a look at this one. It has been in dry storage and not in the rain. I’ve taken very good care of this smoker as it has served me well and is a champion cooker. New Smokefires sell for about $1400. I’m asking $800 OBO. I live in El Dorado Hills, CA and could meet you depending on how far you are driving to buy it.

@DeanK wishing you luck on your sale.

I'm curious what you are keeping to cook on since you sold your trio of WSMs and are now selling this.

Cheers !
