Weber SF EX6 FS $500 not mine


 
I don't know what it is but the pellet grills just do not do anything for me. I have a lot of different grills and styles but just no interest in this style of cook. Just a preference as I know many love them.

I’m in the same boat as you. It just doesn’t make sense to me. I like a sear on my meats. I like a nice smooth and rich smoke flavor when smoking. I like cooking with fire and using direct and indirect. I don’t understand why anyone would cook on a Betty Crocker Easy Bake Oven?

And the set it forget it is bunk. I already do that on my S6.

Clearly I’m in the oddball camp. I don’t sheeple anymore in life. And I’m okay with it.

And no, electric cars don’t interest me either.

Rant over. Need to slice eggplants and salt them.
 
I am not going to bash pellet grills, never used one. But, I really don't have any desire to even try one. Everything I want in grilling, I can get of my Genesis.
 
I already have way more grills than the wife is happy with but with that she did a hell of a cook yesterday. I am lucky as she also loves to grill and rocks it. If I want to bring something else home, I keep my eyes open for a ranch or a birth year kettle ('63) rather than adding another style of cook to the mix.
