Weber performer to 20lb tank?


 
I did this long ago and have not looked back. I started with an "empty" tank that someone threw away. Guess what, it's still going! The Performer uses so little gas to ignite the chimney that even an almost empty tank will last you a long time.

Should be fine....get the shortest hose that will work for you.
Sometimes with the regulator at the end of the hose, you'll have trouble with the OPD releasing.
Open the tank first and let the hose pressurize for a couple of minutes...then light the appliance.

Once you get a tank that is behaving nicely, do not exchange it....re-fill it.
