Weber natural gas connection

Hey guys,

Newbie here. I have a received a new NG Weber genesis II grill. The builder of my home plumbed a gas line for me during the build and after a year of home ownershipI am finally wanting to connect a grill to it.

Do I need any more fittings in the setup? Pictures below.

It looks like you already have it hooked up so I don't understand the question. Does it not work correctly?

Sorry. It is not hooked up. I just took a picture with the Weber end in front the gas line. If you look closely you can see the natural gas cap on the far side. I was thinking I can just attach the Weber line to the gas line. When I look at the instructions for Weber, it looks like there are bunch of extra pieces that attach the gas line.

The gas line has a 1/2 written on the cap.

Looks like than all you need is a reducer to fit to the 3/8" gas line coupling and some teflon tape made for gas fittings
