Yes the cook box sand end caps were sand blasted inside and outside.

Finished up this 2005 Weber Genesis Platiunum C over the weekend. It's a rare bird in that it's only 1 of 2 gas models Weber released with a full Stainless Steel Frame.

Overall it was in good condition, needed some love and attention but pretty happy with the outcome.

I was wondering that too, it looks like it was sandblasted because the finish looks so even.
