Just called Weber customer service to ask about the tolerances on the hood thermometeron my new WSM 18.5, 2010. I use a Maveric digital but figured I would ask non-the-less. When I tested my new thermometer is reads just under 200 in boiling water. Will not go higher. The very courteous cs rep said that was unacceptable and Weber would send me a new one immediately. She doesn't even want the old one back. Now that is GREAT customer service!!!!!
