Weber cook box exterior cleaning

How do you clean exterior cook box genesis silver B, looks like aluminum oxidation of
some kind. Enclosed pics, thanks.

Either take it in for sand blasting or an angle grinder and wire cup brush or good 1/4" impact and wire wheel brush.

To clean up, I must repaint cook box?

Well, I would. But it is aluminum, so it won't rust like steel. But repainting it will make it look nice and provide some protection from that oxidation going forward.

Degrease it and slap some paint on it. No one will really know the difference
