Weber 22" Star-Spangled Kettle

I like the coloring.
It just seems very festive and I’m all about the party.

In another thread Tony said the stars looked N Korean and I have to agree.
I think the stars do look hokey.
Enough to make you wonder if the Chinese fabricators missed something in the translation 🤷‍♂️.

There is a stack of those that are marked down just as you enter our local Walmart in Sequim Washington.
I’m gonna check the price again and maybe pick one up for my daughter.
I can’t use that type of ash catcher here on my windy wooden deck.

Hey Andy!

Just a heads up, the Star Spangled Kettles were made locally in Huntley, Illinois and the star decals came from a local vendor, so we can't blame anyone in China for their appearance. I work for Weber.

Thanks!

John

I apologize John .
I thought they were made over seas due to EPA issues.
Regardless of where they are made I still think they look festive and think they would make a great addition to backyard bbq’s.
Cheers.

I have one and have been trying to cook on it ( twice plus the burn out). Love the look but that lid doesn’t fit right. My Rotti attachment doesn’t fit right either. Trying to figure out if its the bowl or the lid???

Call Weber customer support.

Or...

Take the lid or bowl and put it on a large piece of cardboard. Trace around it, then move it 90deg, center it as best you can with the previous trace, and trace again. That will give you an idea of which one is the worst at being out of round.

Sorry to learn about the trouble with your kettle!

Does the lid fit on top of the rotisserie ring without an issue? - If so, then the bowl is the problem.

Either way, once you determine which of the parts has the issue please reach out to our customer service team and they'll be happy to help send you the appropriate replacement part.

Let me know if you've got any questions!
