we need some sticky topics

I know the wiki has alot of info, but some things on the forums would kinda nice to have.

1-Troubleshooting-it would be nice to have a thread where we could find anything and everything for troubleshooting problems. From the heatermeter to networking issues. I think the first post could be a list of issues people have had(common)with steps to solve the issue. And also have what type of info do you need to post when you find a issue that is not covered, so that it makes it easier to help people.
Examples
Pictures
Equipment used (sd card, router, pi version, probe types, ect.......)

2- scripts. I know there some on the wiki, but it would be nice have a thread with just scripts that people use for alarms. Alot of people including me have no clue how to do a script for changing the pit temperature when your food reaches a certain temp. A copy and paste type of thing would be great.

3-homepage customization. Dave Smith started a thread where you could post your homepage code to change backgrounds, color and so on. It would be nice to have this thread stickied, so that more people will give it a try and who knows you might find a awesome background to use from someone posting their homepage code.

Those are my 3 stickies i would like to see. I know there are some more people would like. Anybody else have a suggestion for some sticky thread to help others find the info fast and hopefully help them find the answer quick.

To quickly address #2 - This can be done right from the Alarms configuration page with the "setpoint' box.

Stickies are good, but I also think it would be good to get the wiki better organized to make things easier to find.

Perhaps a new heatermeter.github.io page?

Forum threads are the worst for finding information I think. I try to pack as much information as possible into the wiki, which probably could use some more troubleshooting tips. The hardware troubleshooting is really case-specific, most problems aren't the same problem twice. You can't have a "It doesn't do anything" topic because there's a dozen things that could be wrong and putting them in forums posts would be a nightmare to find any useful information that's not in the first post... which is like a wiki.

2) The feature you're asking for is built in, but there is a link right on the top of the scripts page to scripts you can copy paste. Doesn't get any better than that!

3) The homepage customization thread is a potential sticky, but I'm not sure how many people actually do that so it is just clutter. I can put a link maybe in the User CSS page to it.

As newbie to the forum, I did have some difficulty finding stuff (did a search today for how to reset the graph and found that no problem).

I know on the XDA forum (for us Android tinkerers) for example, it's common to have a roll-up thread that covers a lot of stuff in detail often just linking to the threads in the forum that cover the topic.

I could see having something like that here that starts with where to get the parts, case, dampers, rPi, assembly, SD cards, WiFi cards, probes, to thermocouple or not to thermocouple, connecting WiFi, setting alarms, etc. so that the roll-up could be followed step by step until you've got the thing done.

This one comes to mind for an older phone that I keep as a spare just in case:

FWIW, I'd offer to start said roll-up thread from a newbie perspective of how it would have helped me along since it's all still relatively recent in my mind. I can't contribute much to the HM project but a roll-up is certainly something I can do and would be happy to start.
